El Encargado de Negocios ad interim debe ser presentado al Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores personalmente si fuere posible, por el Jefe de la Misión a quien reemplace. En todo caso deberá ser acreditado por escrito, ya sea por su Gobierno directamente o por el Jefe de Misión a quien deba reemplazar. Visitas de Soberanos, Jefes de Estado, extranjeros distinguidos, etc.
