El Presidente de cada mesa de votación responderá personalmente por la entrega al Registrador Municipal de los pliegos y registros electorales y será responsable por toda alteración que en ellos se produzca mientras permanezcan en su poder. La constancia escrita del Registrador de haber recibido los pliegos será la única prueba que de haberlos entregado pueda alegar el encargado de la mesa.
