De la Sección de Marcas. Son funciones de la Sección de Marcas

a)

Estudiar y tramitar conforma a la Ley, las solicitudes que se relacionan con el registro de marcas de productos y de servicios, y de depósito de nombres comerciables.

b)

Estudiar y tramitar las renovaciones, traspasos y cambios de nombre de los registros a que se refiere el literal anterior;

c)

Estudiar y tramitar las caducidades y abandonos de marcas y similares;

d)

Elaborar los títulos o certificados relativos al registro de marcas y similares, y

e)

Colaborar con la División de Industrias en todo lo relacionado con el registro, vigencia y uso de marcas y similares.
