Curso de Academia Superior para Oficiales de los Servicios. Los Oficiales de los Servicios con título profesional de facultad mayor que no afecten el curso de Academia Superior de Policía a que se refiere el artículo anterior, para ascender al grado de Teniente Coronel deberán hacer y aprobar un curso en la Academia Superior de Policía, con una duración mínima de doce (12) semanas de acuerdo con reglamentación del Gobierno, curso que no dará derecho a diplomarse en la Academia Superior de Policía.
