En caso de pérdida del certificado o del bono de prenda, la autoridad judicial, cerciorándose mediante información sumaria de que la pérdida es cierta, y de que el actor es propietario del título, ordenara al Almacén general la expedición de un duplicado, previa la prestación de una fianza a satisfacción del mismo Almacén.

Al hallarse el titulo primitivo será entregado al respectivo Almacén.
