El personal Militar del Ejército, Marina y aviación en servicio activo, tendrá derecho a recibir una prima de Navidad del Tesoro público, consistente en un cincuenta por ciento ( 50%) del sueldo que se haya devengado en el mes de noviembre en el año de servicio a que corresponda tal bonificación. El pago de dicha prima debe efectuarse por las Contadurías Pagadoras, a más tardar el 23 de diciembre de cada año.
