Artículo octavo. De conformidad con las finalidades que persigue v con el espíritu de la Resolución XX de la X Conferencia Interamericana, el Centro Andrés Bello adelantará sus labores en dos direcciones: una de investigación y difusión en el campo de la filología y la lingüística hispanoamericanas, y otra de preparación de personal que pueda, más adelante, entregarse a la investigación y auxiliar a las empresas culturales en sus respectivos países.
