El Ministro de Obras Públicas, por intermedio de las respectivas oficinas de su dependencia, y de acuerdo con la autoridad eclesiástica, colaborará con el Consejo de Monumentos Nacionales en las tareas de preservación, restauración y conservación del monumento histórico, "Iglesia y Monasterio de La Concepción", y de la modelación del área que lo circunda, en orden a guardar allí siempre la armonía con el estilo colonial del templo.
