El Sindicato Recaudador está obligado a promover las diligencias del juicio de sucesión y la formación de inventarios y avalúos, dentro de los tres meses de vencido el término de que disponen los herederos para el mismo objeto, y a adelantar sin demora la actuación hasta hacer efectivos los derechos fiscales establecidos en esta Ley.

Puede también antes del término de que trata este artículo, iniciar tales diligencias cuando haya fundado temor de que desaparezcan, se distraigan, deterioren, consuman o extravíen bienes relictos.
