La concesion de que trata esta lei, implica el compromiso por parte del empresario para la ejecucion de la obra de tener limpio i perfectamente navegable el espresado canal, al ménos por cinco años.

Parágrafo

El Poder Ejecutivo, al entregar las sumas que por esta lei se ofrecen como recompensa, exijirá las garantías suficientes de que será cumplido, por parte del empresario o del Gobierno de Bolívar, lo dispuesto en la primera parte de este artículo.
