Conforme con lo dispuesto en el artículo 17 de la Ley 1480 de 2011, todo productor o importador deberá previamente a la puesta en circulación o importación de productos sujetos a reglamento técnico vigilado por la Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio, registrarse ante esta entidad en el Registro de Productores e Importadores de productos sujetos al cumplimiento de reglamentos técnicos vigilados por la Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio. La Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio determinará los mecanismos y requisitos para el registro de productores e importadores. CAPÍTULO III Supervisión y control
