º La unidad administrativa especial creada por el Decreto-ley 84 de 1980, adscrita al Ministerio de Defensa Nacional, se denominará "Centro Universitario Militar Nueva Granada". La unidad es una institución universitaria y podrá adelantar con arreglo a las disposiciones legales programas correspondientes a: Ciencias de la salud, ingeniería, economía, derecho y aquellos otros de las mismas áreas del conocimiento que considere conveniente el Consejo Directivo. La expedición de los títulos se sujetará igualmente a las disposiciones vigentes sobre educación superior.
