Art. 16. Las pensiones de los militares de la Independencia se pagarán como los haberes de los militares en servicio activo.

Para los efectos de éste y del anterior artículo, se entiende por militares de la Independencia los así definidos por la ley 50 de 1886 , con exclusión de toda clase de asimilaciones.
