Cuando la cancelación de una escritura se haga en Notaria distinta de aquella en la cual hubiera sido otorgada, el Notario que autorice la cancelación expedirá los otorgantes, además del certificado previsto en el artículo 2614 del Código Civil, otro destinado al Notario en cuyo protocolo se conserve el instrumento cancelado, a efecto de que este ponga en el original de dicho instrumento la nota de cancelación de que trata el inciso final del artículo 2612 del Código Civil. En esta nota se hará referencia al instrumento de cancelación y al certificado expedido por el notario.
