FUERO DISCIPLINARIO. De conformidad con el artículo 169 de la Constitución Política, los Agentes de la Policía Nacional sólo podrán ser privados de las categorías previstas en este estatuto, con arreglo a la ley penal y disciplinaria de la Policía. El Ministerio Público en desarrollo de su atribución de supervigilancia, podrá disponer la destitución del cargo que desempeñen los Agentes de la Policía Nacional mediante providencia ejecutoriada, previa investigación disciplinaria.
