El que insulte u ofenda gravemente a un centinela, incurre en arresto de uno (1) a seis (6) meses. Si median, además, vías de hecho, se impone prisión de seis (6) meses a un (1) año, siempre que el hecho no constituya un delito más grave. Las penas de que trata este artículo, se aumentarán hasta el doble, si los hechos se cometen en tiempo de guerra, conflicto armado, conmoción interior o turbación del orden público.
