Art. 219. El Pasante puede castigar con reprensiones privadas y públicas á los alumnos y empleados subalternos; y á los primeros con arresto provisional en caso de falta grave, dando inmediatamente cuenta de los hechos al Subdirector por si hubiere necesidad de ocurrir á otra sanción, ó para que éste fije la duración del arresto.
