Los funcionarios de la Carrera Diplomática y Consular nombrados en cargos del Servicio Exterior no podrán ser trasladados inmotivadamente a la planta interna, antes de cumplir dos (2) años de servicio en el exterior, o a otro cargo en el Servicio Exterior, antes de cumplir un (1) año en la sede respectiva. Los casos de traslados anticipados a que se refiere este artículo deberán ser conocidos por la Comisión de Personal de la Carrera Diplomática, la cual se pronunciará sobre el particular y hará las recomendaciones que sean del caso al Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores.
