Para los efectos de la responsabilidad penal para adolescentes, la privación de la libertad sólo procede para las personas que al momento de cometer el hecho hayan cumplido catorce (14) y sean menores de dieciocho (18) años. La privación de la libertad sólo procederá como medida pedagógica.
