ARTICULO 145 . ASCENSO POSTUMO. La autoridad nominadora podrá conferir el ascenso póstumo al grado inmediatamente superior, al miembro del Cuerpo de Custodia y Vigilancia Penitenciaria y Carcelaria Nacional, que fallezca en actos extraordinarios del servicio o con ocasión del mismo y en defensa de la Institución Penitenciaria o de los objetivos de la justicia, aspecto que será evaluado y calificado por las comisiones regionales de personal.
