La Superintendencia de Notariado y Registro, teniendo en cuenta la naturaleza de sus funciones y el origen de sus recursos, continuará funcionando como una unidad administrativa especial, adscrita al Ministerio de Justicia, con personería jurídica y patrimonio autónomo. El régimen presupuestal, de administración de personal y de contratos será el mismo que rige para los establecimientos públicos.
