Los cargos pueden ser libremente aceptados o rehusados, para los fines de su confirmación quien recibe el nombramiento en propiedad, deberá comprobar ante quien lo hizo que reúne los requisitos exigidos para el cargo. Sin la confirmación no podrán tomar posesión, ni ejercer las funciones. El término que tiene el nombrado para presentar su documentación es de un mes contado desde el día en que reciba el nombramiento, si reside en el país y de tres meses si esta en el extranjero.
