Art. 3.° En el caso de que los pobladores de tierras baldías demarquen por sí mismos los terrenos en que se establezcan, encerrándolos con cercas firmes i permanentes, capaces de impedir el paso de bestias i ganados, cada colono adquirirá la propiedad de todo el terreno comprendido dentro de sus cercas.
