La República de Colombia honra la memoria y rinde tributo al eminente hombre público, ilustre ciudadano e íntegro y ejemplar funcionario, doctor Antonio Roldán Betancour, fallecido trágicamente el día 4 de julio de 1989, siendo Gobernador del Departamento de Antioquia, registra y enaltece los servicios prestados al país desde las actividades política, administrativa y profesional, las cuales ejerció con probidad, dedicación y talento.
