Los impuestos a que esta Ley se refiere serán destinados en el Municipio de Santa Marta a las siguientes obras: acueducto, alcantarillado y pavimentación de la ciudad, terminación del Palacio Municipal y construcción de un mercado público moderno. Si algún excedente quedare, se invertirá en las obras que acuerde el Concejo Municipal.
