ARTICULO 68 . NATURALEZA JURIDICA.- La Unidad Administrativa Especial de Aeronáutica Civil es una entidad de carácter técnico, con personería jurídica, autonomía administrativa y patrimonio independiente, adscrita al Ministerio de Transporte, para ejercer las funciones de la Autoridad Aeronáutica en todo el territorio nacional. A la Unidad Administrativa Especial de Aeronáutica Civil se le aplicará el régimen presupuestal, de contratación y de personal previsto para los establecimientos públicos.
