La propiedad horizontal se extingue total o parcialmente por las causales legales antes mencionadas, una vez se eleve a escritura pública la decisión de la asamblea general de propietarios, o la sentencia judicial que lo determine, cuando a ello hubiere lugar, y se inscriba en la Oficina de Registro de Instrumentos Públicos.
