Por especiales razones del servicio, las direcciones seccionales podrán abarcar territorio de varios departamentos, intendencias y comisarías y su sede permanente puede ubicarse en la ciudad capital o en otra que ofrezca buenas condiciones para el funcionamiento de la seccional.
