La Contraloría General de la República ejercerá el control fiscal en las Intendencias y Comisarías, para efectos de establecer que los recursos transferidos por concepto de su participación en el impuesto a las ventas fueron distribuidos y gastados en la forma prescrita en este decreto, en el acuerdo que adopte el presupuesto Intendencial o comisarial y en las demás disposiciones vigentes.
