Presentado así un lote en la aduana, y revisados la clasificación y el peso, se procederá a formar cinco (5) lotes iguales en valor, entre los cuales se tomará por sorteo el correspondiente al Fisco. Las perlas que no puedan ser agrupadas en los cinco (5) lotes mencionados, serán retenidas por la aduana para ser vendidas en pública subasta y distribuído el valor entre el Gobierno y el interesado en la proporción de un veinte por ciento (20 por 100) y un ochenta por ciento (80 por 100). Si el tamaño y clase de tales perlas fuere excepcional, el Gobierno podrá disponer que se vendan en el Exterior.
