De la imposición de sanciones. Las sanciones previstas en este Decreto, serán aplicadas por la autoridad que hizo la designación o el nombramiento, una vez establecidos los hechos que den lugar a las mismas. Directamente o mediante un funcionario de su dependencia, la autoridad nominadora hará las averiguaciones pertinentes o adelantará la investigación a que hubiere lugar.
