º . Delimitación de la cuenca . Una cuenca hidrográfica se delimita por la línea de divorcio de las aguas. Se entiende por línea de divorcio la cota o altura máxima que divide dos cuencas contiguas. Cuando los límites de las aguas subterráneas de una cuenca no coincidan con la línea divisoria de aguas, sus límites serán extendidos subterráneamente más allá de la línea superficial de divorcio hasta incluir la de los acuíferos subterráneos cuyas aguas confluyen hacia la cuenca deslindada.
