°. Prima de Carabinero. El personal de Patrulleros de Policía, que ostente la especialidad de carabinero y preste sus servicios en las áreas reglamentadas como tales por la Dirección General de la Policía Nacional, tendrá derecho a una prima mensual de carabinero equivalente al cinco por ciento (5%) de la asignación básica. Esta prima no tiene carácter salarial para ningún efecto.
