Conforme a lo dispuesto por la Ley 448 de 1998, el Fondo de Contingencias Contractuales de las Entidades Estatales constituye una cuenta especial, sin personería jurídica, manejada por el sector administrativo de Hacienda y Crédito Público, cuyo objeto es el señalado por el artículo 3 del presente decreto.
