Art. 1.º Destínanse del Tesoro nacional hasta doce mil pesos ($12,000) para hacer inmediatamente la exploración de la mejor vía para un camino de herradura que, partiendo de la ciudad de San José de Cúcuta , pase por Ocaña i de allí al punto mas inmediato i conveniente del rio Lebrija o del rio Magdalena, cuidando de seguir el trazado que indicó el Coronel Agustin Codazzi en los años de 1850 i 1851.
