Las estaciones de radiodifusión sonora en Frecuencia Modulada (F.M.) se clasificarán así

Estaciones de primera clase: Aquellas con potencia efectiva radiada (per), mayor de diez (10) kilovatios y menor o igual a cien (100) kilovatios;

Estaciones de segunda clase : Aquellas con potencia efectiva radiada (per), mayor de cinco (5) kilovatios y menor o igual a diez (10) kilovatios;

Estaciones de tercera clase : Aquellas con potencia efectiva radiada (per) entre doscientos cincuenta (250) vatios y cinco (5) kilovatios.
