Autorización de capacitación en vigilancia y seguridad privada. Para ofrecer y desarrollar un curso de capacitación en Vigilancia y Seguridad Privada se requiere que las Escuelas y Departamentos de Capacitación y Entrenamiento en Vigilancia y Seguridad Privada, cuenten con licencia de funcionamiento aprobada por la Superintendencia de Vigilancia y Seguridad Privada, y que tengan autorizado el Proyecto Educativo Institucional en Vigilancia y Seguridad Privada (PEIS), siendo este requisito indispensable para la aprobación. En el Proyecto Educativo Institucional en Vigilancia y Seguridad Privada (PEIS) de cada Escuela y Departamento de Capacitación en Vigilancia y Seguridad Privada se establecen los cursos de capacitación que se autorizan para ser ofertados y desarrollados por estas.
