Las Oficinas Seccionales son dependencias del Instituto, cuya finalidad primordial es la aplicación, en el territorio de su jurisdicción, de las normas legales, estatutarias y reglamentarias del Instituto. Cumplirán las funciones que les deleguen el Consejo Directivo y el Director General, conforme a la ley y a sus propios estatutos.
