Art 2o. La medalla de que trata el artículo anterior llevar en el anverso las armas de la República, rodeadas con ésta inscripción:

"El Congreso de los Estados Unidos de Colombia, los empresarios de la Ferrería de 'La Pradera.' Ley de 1884."

En el reverso se leer:

"Han merecido bien de la Patria de los primeros fabricantes de rieles."
