º. El Superintendente Bancario podrá conceder autorizaciones a los establecimientos bancarios que lo soliciten, para que mantengan o establezcan secciones de ahorros con el lleno de los requisitos indicados por la Ley 45 de 1943 y disposiciones concordantes. Podrá asimismo el Superintendente Bancario, con la aprobación del Ministerio de Hacienda y Crédito Público, autorizar y reglamentar el funcionamiento de Cajas o Secciones de Ahorros que estén investidas de personería jurídica y que hayan sido organizadas o que se organicen bajo los auspicios y con la cooperación de entidades de beneficencia o de asistencia social.
