Para garantizar el cumplimiento de las obligaciones impuestas en el presente Decreto, y las que imponga la resolución reglamentaria, las sociedades privadas de investigación y de vigilancia constituirán fianza prendaria, o por medio de una compañía de seguros, a satisfacción del Servicio de Inteligencia Colombiano (S.I.C), y a favor de éste, por un valor equivalente al veinte por ciento (20%) del capital social, y en ningún caso inferior a un mil pesos ($ 1.000.00).
