Art. 2493. Las causas de preferencia son solamente el privilejio i la hipoteca.

Estas causas de preferencia son inherentes a los créditos, para cuya seguridad se han establecido, i pasan con ellos a todas las personas que los adquieren por cesión, subrogación o de otra manera.
