Sistemas de telecomunicaciones y controles para las necesidades esenciales de la navegación aérea. Corresponde a la Unidad Administrativa Especial de Aeronáutica Civil (UAEAC) establecer los sistemas de telecomunicaciones y los controles requeridos para satisfacer las necesidades esenciales de la navegación aérea tales como:

1.

Sistemas de seguridad para búsqueda y salvamento;

2.

Estaciones de control aeroportuarias;

3.

Seguridad de la vida humana en el espacio aéreo;

4.

Seguridad de la navegación;

5.

Movimiento de aeronaves en condiciones de seguridad y confiabilidad;

6.

Radionavegación y ayudas a la radionavegación.
