Competencia para expedir registro sanitario. El Instituto Nacional de Vigilancia de Medicamentos y Alimentos, Invima, expedirá los registros sanitarios para los alimentos.

Parágrafo

El Invima podrá delegar en algunas entidades territoriales, la expedición de los registros sanitarios, conforme al resultado de la demostración que hagan los entes territoriales de salud, sobre la correspondiente capacidad técnica y humana con que cuenten para el ejercicio de la delegación.
