Autorízase al Banco Popular para debitar a una cuenta diferida, que se denominará " Ley 49 de 1959 :, el valor de las pérdidas contabilizadas hasta el 30 de junio de 1959, y el de las que se registren en lo sucesivo a consecuencia de créditos concedidos e inversiones efectuadas con anterioridad al 30 de junio de 1957, previa autorización de la Superintendencia Bancaria, en cada caso. El saldo de esta cuenta no se computara al hacer el cálculo del capital saneado del Banco Popular, conforme al artículo 16 de la Ley 45 de 1923 .
