Los Directores de Estadística suministrarán, con la amplitud y exactitud posibles, los datos que soliciten las autoridades de la República, en el ejercicio de las respectivas funciones. Expedirán también los datos que soliciten los Agentes Diplomáticos y Consulares acreditados ante el Gobierno, pero con previa autorización del Ministro a cuyo cargo se atribuya el ramo de Estadística.
