Una vez posesionado el Capellán, debe ser presentado a la Unidad por su Comandante e instruída ésta de la categoría y funciones de aquél en el Cuerpo, y de los honores que se le deben. En igual forma ha de ser presentado a cada contingente que llegue al servicio. El Capellán, una vez cumplidas estas formalidades, y entrado en el desempeño de sus funciones, debe dar aviso de ello al Capellán General.
