Las declaraciones que reciban los funcionarios del Ministerio Público, en desarrollo de las averiguaciones que adelanten en ejercicio de sus facultades, se harán bajo la gravedad del juramento. Cuando la averiguación se inicie en virtud de queja, el funcionario encargado de adelantarla ordenará su ratificación bajo juramento.
