ARTICULO 16 . ESTRUCTURA . La estructura interna del Instituto para la Seguridad Social y Bienestar de la Policía Nacional, será determinada conforme a las disposiciones legales y se ajustará a las siguientes normas

Las unidades del nivel directivo se denominarán Subdirecciones.

Las unidades que cumplen funciones de asesoría o de coordinación, se denominan Oficinas o Comités. Cuando incluyan personal ajeno al Instituto, se denominan Consejos.

Las unidades operativas, incluidas las que atienden los servicios administrativos internos se denominarán Divisiones, Secciones y Grupos.

Las unidades que se creen para el estudio o decisión de asuntos especiales, se denominarán Comisiones o Juntas. CAPITULO V REGIMEN JURÍDICO DE LOS ACTOS Y CONTRATOS
