Cuando se realice actividad minera subterránea, las labores de sostenimiento deben garantizar la seguridad, tanto de las personas, como de los equipos. Igualmente, se debe garantizar que en superficie, tanto las obras civiles como la infraestructura existente, no se vean afectadas por la subsidencia.
